Nayantara's challenging role in Naanum Rowdy Dhan

Actress Nayantara is one of the busiest heroines in Kollywood with over 5 films in her kitty. The actress is now busy shooting for her upcoming film Naanum Rowdy Dhan by director Vignesh Shivan.

We hear that the pretty actress would be essaying the role of a hearing-impaired person in the film. A reliable source reveals that her role is crafted with a lot of comic elements and it will showcase a different Nayantara on screen.
Naanum Rowdy Dhan is jointly produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Radikaa Sarath Kumar’s Magic Frames.

Nayanthara as the hearing impaired girl

Naanum Rowdy Thaan is an upcoming feature film that stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the leads. The film is produced by Dhanush for Wunderbar Films and directed by Vignesh Shivan of Poda Podee fame.

The supporting cast includes RJ Balaji, Anand Raj and Radhikaa SarathkumarThe technical team includes Anirudh for music, George C Williams for camera and Sreekar Prasad for editing. The film's shooting is happening at Pondycherry. 

The latest from the team is that Nayanthara is playing the role of a hearing impaired girl in the film. For Nayan, this will be the first time in her career that she will be playing this kind of a role. On the other hand, hero Vijay Sethupathi is seen sporting a clean shaven look and appears like a boy-next door. Naanum Rowdy Thaan is said to be a light hearted entertainer.

Swetha Basu Prasad – The two sides of Coin

Accusing media of sensationalism, actress Swetha Basu Prasad sounded as if she is calling a spade a spade. Talking about her educational background, national award winning tasks, newly addicted photography, Swetha has given ‘gyaan’ to media condemning that there is no question of any ‘prostitution’ from her side.
“I’m not using drugs, neither murdering people. People are interested about this episode because there’s some sex involved here and a celebrity”, she quipped, giving a clean chit to herself in the whole medley of sensational news. This is just one side of the coin however.
On the flip side, Hyderabad’s additional Police commissioner N Koti Reddy claimed that they have specific information about Swetha Basu Prasad after a TV channel aired sting operation about her escapades. He made it clear that an assistant director turned pimp was arranging customers for Swetha at a price. And they have red-handedly caught the actress by arranging a decoy operation, and arrested Balu. He stated that Swetha is a victim and she will be a witness in the trial against the pimp.
But, what is to be noticed, understood and found out here is what Swetha is saying and what has happened for real. Even after the ‘sting operation’ that got 100s of clues, audiences are in a position, scratching their heads, unable to believe neither side of the coin.
