There was a time when Shruti Hassan was labeled an iron leg. But Kamal Hassan’s little girl is slowly but steadily making a place for herself in Tollywood and Bollywood. Her luck took a turn when Gabbar Singh became a super hit. Then came Balupu.
The success of the film proved that she was no one film wonder. Many hoped she will hit a hat trick of sorts with the success of Ramayya Vastavayya.
While Samantha played the female protagonist, Shruti had an important role in the film. Unfortunately for her, the film failed at the box office.
Just as her fans were worried about her change of luck, she once again managed a hit in Yevadu.
Actually, it was Samantha who was supposed to play the lead opposite Ram Charan. But due to various reasons, the film landed in Shruti Haasan’s kitty and she made the most of it.
Next up for release is Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram. Shruti is hopeful that the film will be a hit too.
She has been signing a lot of Bollywood films and is being careful about the projects she is picking in Telugu. Only if she is totally satisfied with the hero, producer and director, she is giving the final nod.
