A few months ago, we had reported that Lakshmi Rai will be playing a biker in the Atharvaa-Priya Anand-starrer, Irumbu Kuthirai. Now, the latest rumour doing the rounds is that the actress is not part of the film and that she has not been called on to shoot for it.

A source close to the actress says, "It's true that Lakshmi hasn't shot for her portions yet. But she has signed on the film and is still part of it. Lakshmi and Priya Anand are playing two of the main leads, and appear in different portions.

Lakshmi met with director Yuvraj and had asked for certain improvisations to be made to her character, and got some clarification on it.

They've had a couple of meetings, and that's probably given rise to these rumours. She's waiting for things to fall in place before making any kind of official announcement."
