The once leading heartthrob Tamannah was replaced by Amala Paul the moment Mynaa was declared a super hit. They two had met somewhere in Andhra Pradesh where Tamanna is currently sheltered. The once leading belle of Tamil cinema has settled in Andhra Pradesh soon after Actor Karthi’s marriage was announced.
The success of Mynaa coincided with Tamanna’s leaving for Hyderabad. Since then, Amala Paul bagged plenty of offers while heroines like Hansika Motwani irritated audiences to the core after starring in no-brainer films.
It could be noted that Amala Paul had a second heroine role in Vikram’s Deiva Thirumagal. In Vaagai Sooda Vaa, Amala Paul would have played the female lead. Sargunam had signed Amala Paul before Mynaa was released but when it became a hit, Amala Paul refused to cooperate. She has also rejected the offer to act with Dhanush in “3″ , directed by Aishwarya Rajnikanth.
Sargunam was irked and he cast Iniya. Since she performed well, she has bagged a lot of offers including Mounaguru with Arulnithi Thamilarasu. She looks like one who could sideline Amala Paul as she performs well and also looks good.
