No, we are not talking of senior artiste Amala here. It’s Amala Paul who was seen in films such as Iddarammayilatho, Nayak, Bejawada, etc.
But the film that got her fame and recognition was a Tamil film titled Maina. Till date, she is known as the ‘Maina’ girl in Kollywood.
Later, she was cast opposite Vikram in Nanna and despite his towering presence, she managed to hold her ground and grab eyeballs.
Right now, Amala Paul is busy with films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.She said she was really lucky to get the opportunity to work in three south Indian languages and expressed joy that she was being well-received by audiences in all three regions.
Of course, Amala Paul said that she worked really hard to make sure that she suited the sense and sensibilities of various audiences.
Speaking of her dream role, she said she dreamed of being a part of a period film. While she gets to be play natural roles in Malayalam, she mostly plays fantasy roles in Telugu. Amala says Tamil is a mix of both.
Amala Paul is confident she will get her dream role soon. Well, we hope her dream comes true!
